Inglot – Freedom System Pressed Powder

Hi everyone!

Welcome back to my blog, and it will be a really interesting blogpost to share today, as it will be my first time reviewing an Inglot makeup product purchase :D!!! …. and before I say anything else …. please know that I’m highly impressed by this product and will be looking forward to trying out more and more Inglot products in the future :D!!!

So today, I’ll be talking about the Freedom System Pressed Powder and compact I picked up from the Olympia Beauty Show last week, as Inglot had a gorgeous stand at the beauty event, where you can trial out all the makeup and purchase goods at a discounted price between 20-50% off I believe!!!

So I purchased the Freedom System Pressed Powder in shade 15 (which is normally £9.00) for £6.00 and the compact that the Freedom System Powder goes into it for £5.00 instead of £7.00!!! Which is a bargain if I do say so myself, and it was a lovely way to save as I’m trialling out the brand for the first time :)!!!

Shade 15 for me is a lovely neutral powder, and is a tiny bit darker (with yellow undertones) to work well with a foundation underneath, and it translates lighter than its appearance in the powder palette tin it comes in once you blend it onto the skin.

The actual formula is incredible, and one of the best I’ve tried (and trust me, I’ve tried a lot of Pressed setting powders for my face) !!! …. I love the creamy velvet like texture of the Powder, and it’s perfectly pigmented so that a little use of the product will go a long way! I absolutely love the long lasting nature of this powder, and the ability it has on controlling any oil and shine on my face. I can safely say that for 6 hours it can definitely hold its ground in eliminating the oil from my face, and that being said I only need a quick 2 second touch up on my T-zone and I’m good to go again :D!!! I bought some Velour Powder Puffs from Boots which go perfectly in the handbag ready to use with the powder compact, when you’re on the go and need a quick makeup touch up!

It’s perfect for an oily skin tone, as the powder is Mattifying and it’s perfect for setting your face makeup and for reducing the oiliness on the face and T-Zone area, and it’s worked wonders for me & my skin type!!! I usually get a really oily T- zone and the InglotFreedom System Pressed Powder worked wonders on it!

The compact you purchase is great as it comes with a handy mirror so you can apply your makeup with ease when you’re on the go! And what I really love about the compact is that it’s better for the environment and it’s reusable, so once you’ve finished one powder, you can just purchase a refill! 😀 … that’s not only beneficial for the environment but also helps in saving money on powder’s… I usually use the Mac Select Sheer pressed Powder in NC20 for my face, and it costs me about £22.50… So with the Inglot Freedom System Pressed Powder I’ll be saving just Over half of what I pay by about £13.50 in saving … WHICH IS A WINNNNN in my eyes!

When I’m out and about, I mentioned that I use the Velour Powder puffs to apply some of the powder on my oily T-zone, however when I’m at home I use my *The Vintage Cosmetics Company  Powder Brush to lightly dab the Freedom System Pressed Powder onto my face in a circular motion! (*The Vintage Cosmetics Company Powder Brush was gifted to me in a previous beauty event)!!!
