Glossier – Haloscope in Moonstone

Hi Everyone,

I am back to talk to you all about the goodies I received from *Glossier!!!  I will be talking about the next item I got as part of the beauty event I headed to a while back with *Glossier, and that’s the *Glossier – Haloscope in Moonstone :D!!!

Before I headed to the Glossier event, the *Haloscope was the product that I was most excited to try, and was the one I was looking forward to test out and use!

I first want to mention that the packaging is always beautiful in the Glossier products I love the pink and white box the *Haloscope comes in, and I love the little smiley faces that are printed on the box, they’re so cute! I also love the rounded tube with the see through lid that the Haloscope comes in, and I love that you can twist up the product for usaage 🙂 !!! it’s very cool and I love twist up products, it reminds me of the Clinique Chubby Stick concept !!!

Beautiful product packaging aside, I was looking forward to trying the *Moonstone, as it as a beautiful Opalescent Glaze, so it give off a natural glowy / dewy light textured highlight effect on the skin!….. and honestly I love how natural the highlighter is, and I do love the light dewy effect it gives off on my skin. I only used a little bit and it gave a naturally light looking glow effect on my skin. The product pigmentation is great for the effect of natural dewiness, and stays on for a long time….

However, one thing that really bothers me about this product, aside from the awesomeness, is that it feels a tad bit sticky on the face …. it’s almost gluey 😦 for a couple of seconds on the face … and that’s something that bothered me …. but once it sets into the skin the sticky feeling from the application goes… and honestly the colour pay off for a natural glowy cheek / face is left !!!

So in a way I’m a bit disappointed with the actual product and the stickiness it left on my face after application, but I cannot help but love this product because of the colour pay off and the natural dewy texture it leaves on my face! I would definitely use this product on my face for the day, when I’m out and about during the colder months here in London… as it will give off a more natural glow to my face … in oppose to the glamorous highlighters I have used for more night looks :D!!!

  1. Love this xx

  2. Ooh interesting, I love highlights that give a subtle glow as you can get away with wearing them in the daytime! The stickiness is a slight downside, but I guess you just need to remember to allow it time to set. x

    • Yeah absolutely, I would say once it sets in it will look and feel amazing! Just a shame it has a little stickiness 🙂 but would recommend trying it for a natural look! Xoxo
