NYX – Angel Veil Skin Perfecting Primer

Hello Everyone!

I am back here on to talk about my growing love for the Angel Veil Primer from NYX!!! But before that I’d love to wish all my lovely friends out there that Celebrate Christmas, a Merry Christmas & I hope your day was special spent with your loved ones! ❤ I made a bunch of lovely friends at my University and spent Christmas day celebrating it with them! 🙂 !!!

Back onto business ;p, after my bestie Ghaida convinced me to finally buy one of these to try out for myself, I went into my local Boots and picked up a bottle to try for myself. I already fell in love with the Pore Filler by NYX, however I didn’t like how rigid-silicone-like it felt on the skin, it felt very rubbery and the reason why I tried it was because it was targeted at oily skin gals, and it gives a matte finish….but I noticed that you could get your primer needs through using a lighter primer, and that is why I was sold on the Angel Veil, although it’s targeted at dry skin… I found the moisturising element of the cream based primer to be very hydrating during the winter cold, and it is a lighter application on the face, it glides on like butter on the face :D! … and it’s perfect for matte skin as it is oil free! 😀

I really love the Primer it’s very practically formulated, you’ll get a full face worth of priming from a little squeeze of product! I must say however, because it’s naturally a very smooth textured formula you’d have to blend it in for a couple of seconds to dry matte onto the face! It then feels very Angelic on the face, and trust me when I say this will work for oily skin type girls like me (I was hesitant at first) till I realised it works well with my layering foundation for a smooth & matte application, and it has a lovely brightening quality to it! I love that it brightens up your complexion, which is needed during these colder days! I love the clear, neat packaging with the Angelic Typography, mixed with the matte pink lid! ❤ The price of the primer is also more affordable than other primers out there, priced at £12 is considerably a great price, as it has managed to brighten, hydrate, enabled my makeup application to be blended easier, and lastly mattified my skin… and that is what I look for in a Primer, and with that I definitely recommend trying out the Angel Veil Skin Perfecting PrimerNYX.

  2. I’m obsessed with NYX at the moment especially their lip products but I ought to branch out to their other stuff. This sounds fab and I’m in need of a new primer- I expect it works fine for dry skin seeing as it says so lol- I’ll have to see 😀
