MAC – Prep & Prime Fix+

I am really excited to talk about the Fix + from MAC today!

I’m a massive fan of the Prep & Prime Fix+ since I started using the travel sized version of this one! I use the Fix+ for everything!

It’s perfect for spraying onto a makeup sponge before applying foundation onto your skin, as it lowers the sponge absorption levels that happens when you use sponges to apply foundation!

I also spray my Fix+ onto a highlighting brush after I dip the brush into the highlighter & it gives a beautiful glow on my cheek bones which is more intensified by the Fix+ spray!

I also use the Fix+ for the most common use, which would be to intensify areas of my face which need a little touching up & to set my makeup in place! I love that the bottle is in a see through bottle, which releases a gentle mist of water onto the face… rather than other leading competitor setting sprays that feel heavy on the face & & are in aerosol bottles!!! I love everything about the packaging of this product, all the way from the glittered box it comes in, to the see through bottle & I love the sliding open & close feature of the bottle!

It’s perfect for setting your makeup & refreshes your face in the process! The Fix+ is packed full of lovely vitamins & minerals and lovely ingredients including Green tea, Chamomile & cucumber which refresh and soothe the skin & instantly adds a bit of hydration onto the skin….LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

Using this spray, I wouldn’t directly hold the bottle near my face, I’d hold it about 40 cm away from my face & then gently spray the mist over my face, or onto the areas of my face that need a bit of freshening up / touching up!

***For first time users, MAC have the Travel sized version called the Sized to go Prep & Prime Fix+ which I’d recommend you use first, before investing into the larger size to see whether you like the product & the travel sized one is priced at £10.00 for 30ML!

This sounds like such a great product, particularly for spraying on your highlighter brush afterwards – as you say! – that sounds perfect as highlighter is the first thing to disappear after a long day’s makeup wear!!

  24. Oooo what a great idea to spritz this on your sponge before you apply foundation! I am definitely going to try this! I need to invest in more MAC since they really don’t have one bad product. Love it! ❤

    • Thanks so much sweetie! It really does help to prevent a lot of foundation getting absorbed into the sponge itself! Hahaha! I tell myself all the time to try out more MAC products! Their lipstick range is killer ❤ I can really understand how successful they've become because they nail it all the time with their amazing formulas :)! Xoxo
