Walking on the Wild side

I am really excited to share with you all my OOTD (Outfit of the day) today inspired by my Leopard printed tights I bought from Topshop.

I added a picture of me wearing my tights a couple of days ago on my Instagram page @Iamserenel & received a lovely comment from one of my blogger friends Suzi from Suzireviews saying ‘Walking on the wild side today?’ & that just inspired the name for my outfit called

Walking on the Wild Side! :p

I wanted to combine my love of prints, textures and patterns in a monochrome style that can be wearable for everyday & so I kept the colour scheme of the outfit to shades of black, white & grey!

I mixed up the horizontal stripes of my cropped jumper & teamed it with my lovely Zara vertical pleated leather look skirt I picked up last season. The cut of the skirt, and the pleated nature of how it appears just reminds me that spring is coming & as a matter of fact Spring started today (Friday 20th March) here in the UK!!! Finally 🙂 You can tell from the Blossoms blooming on the Trees, so beautiful!!!

I kept the feminine & spring influences through the bow detailed ballerina shoes & leopard printed tights to bring dimension to the look & show you that once again monochrome can be feminine – you just need to focus on the little details in your outfit that can instantly make your outfit more feminine!

I found out that my River Island Cropped Jacket has a fur collar that is removable and so I’m able to style the jacket in many ways & wanted to show you without the fur collar how it transitions into a buttonless over jacket & finished the look with my tonal printed Topshop Snake print bag!!! when I tell you this bag fits the whole world, it really does fit everything!!! 🙂

  1. Like others, I love the tight. 🙂 For my part, I feel like I’ve been living in black leggings lately when I’m not at work – probably need to change things up, no? 🙂 xo
