I am beyond excited to share with you all my Molten Metallics Runway inspired Makeup look taken from the Vogue A/W Beauty Trends 2014 guide!

You can check out the Vogue Feature here!

I’ve Collaborated with the Lovely Annie From anniesbeautyblog.com on this Molten Metallics Runway Inspired Makeup Tutorial. Annie Decided to recreate a Look taken from the Rodarte A/W 2014 Fashion show that features a Bronze eye & Glitter Lip Look. You can check out her feature here! ( But before you go & check the Lovely Annie’s feature stay here & check out mine first! 🙂 )

I’ve decided to recreate one of the Intense Silver Metallic Eye Makeup Look Donna Karan used in her A/W 2014 Runway Looks and here is the image I drew my inspiration for this Makeup Look from!

Screen shot 2014-12-10 at 16.33.16

For my Makeup look, all the focus is directed at the eyes, as all of the focus will be directed at the Intense nature of the Silver! I opted for a Dark Silver/ Black for my makeup Look as I found the intensity of the Pigment to be more Striking!

Here is the Finished Look!

I started my Makeup Look with prepping my eyes to prevent falling from the eyeshadow on your face makeup base!!!

(1) Prepping your eyes & applying your base shadow

The tool I’ve used to create this Look, is the Awesome Foil Finish eyeshadow kit from Makeup Revolution! The Kit includes a Liquid Eye Primer & the Metallic eyeshadow & a mixing tray!

You should Mix the Liquid eye primer & Eyeshadow together in the Tray & blend together.

I then applied the Eyeshadow on the base of my lid, using my Real Techniques – Base Shadow Brush!

***You can then keep building up the layers of the eyeshadow depending on how intense you want the look to be! I’ve added 2 more layers & here is what I ended up with!

(2) Apply the Foil Finish eyeshadow on the Inner corner of your Bottom Lash Line

I’m applying the Makeup Revolution Foil Finish eyeshadow on the inner corner of my lower lash line using my Real Techniques – Smudge Brush!

Here is the swatch for the Black Diamond Foil Finish Eyeshadow!

(3) Fill in your Brows

I’m firstly shading in my Brows using my Billion Dollar Brow Powder in Raven & applying it on my brows using the Revlon – Double ended smokey eye brush!

& Then I’m going over the brows using my Bobbi Brown – Natural Brow shaper to create a Bushed out eyebrow like the image I took inspiration from above!

(4) Coat your Lower Lashes with Mascara

I’ve used the Palladio Beauty – MaXXLash Mascara for this & coated it on my Lower Lashes!!!

(5) Put your Lashes on!

I’m using my Superdrug Lash False Lashes & applying it onto my eyes using my Tweezerman Tweezers!

& GUESS WHAT your eyes are done!

Here is the finished eye look

Here are all the steps together!

After you’ve completed your eyes, you’ll want to begin on your Foundation / Base Makeup!

(1) I would Begin by applying my Foundation, with a Foundation Brush. I’m using my Ellis FaasSkin Veil Foundation & applying it with my Mac187 Duo Fibre Brush!

(2) If you like to conceal, I would conceal under the eye area at this point. I’ve combined the 2 concealers inside the Studio 10Skin Perfector palette and blended them in together using a Real TechniquesDetailer Brush!

***You can also use your finger tips to warm the concealer, and dab it onto your face using your fingertips!

3) Set your Face, using a powder! I’m using the MacSelect Sheer Pressed Powder & applying it with my Bobbi BrownFace Blender Brush all over my face, and especially on my t-zone (as I have an oily complexion)!

(4) Apply your Blush over the apples of your cheeks!

I’m using the Studio 10Plumping Blush and pumping out a small amount and applying it onto the apples of my cheeks using the Bobbi BrownSheer Powder Brush & this will give you a natural flushed look!

& Finally to complete the look you must keep the eyes on Focus, so I’ve opted for a  Nude Lip.

& I’m using the Lord & Berry – Crayon Lipstick in Earth
