Love your Skin London Skincare Review

I am really excited to share with you all my recent Moisturising discovery from Love your Skin London!!! The Love your Skin is quite a New British Skincare & Beauty Brand & With new brands, there is always that element of surprise when you get to review their products because you get to form your own opinions on the products!

After meeting with the Brains behind the Love your Skin Brand, Skin Expert & Trained Beauty Therapist Lorraine Winslade. I left with a couple of great products to test out, and really understand the Love your Skin Products for myself!

Over the past month, I’ve been trying out the

Collagen with Vitamin E Intensive Hydra Gel Moisturiser

Chamomile & Seabuckthorn Calming & Soothing Facial Serum

Collagen Moisturising Gel

Before I get into the details of each product I wanted to share with you why I am in love with the Love your Skin Brand. What is great about the Brand is that the products are created using the knowledge of its Creators that have over 40 years of experience within the Skincare & beauty industry!

What is also great about the Love your Skin brand, is that all the products are of premium quality, long lasting, and generous in their quantity < All great qualities to have when selecting a product you will be using for the future, that and at a fraction of the price of what you will be paying for a premium Skincare product!

When discussing Skincare with Lorraine, I mentioned I have quite sensitive skin, so I was advised to use the product range that are aimed at Sensitive skin i.e the Chamomile & Seabuckthorn Calming & Soothing Facial Serum. It is great to have a product that is specially formulated for your skin type, and what is great about the product ranges, is that there are formulas for other skin types including:

Normal

Dry

Oily

Combination

& Sensitive Skin

I will firstly begin with the Collagen with Vitamin E Intensive Hydra Gel Moisturiser!!!

The Moisturiser is Water based, this  formulation is created carefully to suit all skin types to prevent any type of irritation to occur! The collagen proteins present within the Moisturiser combine/ bind to enable hydration is always present on the surface of the skin! < This is perfect as it will continuously work throughout the day to help you stay hydrated and fresh! I used this product twice a day on occasions where I am not wearing makeup < as an all day protecting Moisturiser  and even as a primer when combined with the Facial Serum!

Here is a swatch of the Moisturiser:

Using the Moisturiser on its own:

Using on its own enables your face to maintain hydration during the day, and even throughout the night, as part of your night time skincare & beauty regime! What is great about the Moisturiser is that it works with your skin to maintain its youthful appearance – which is maintained by the presence of Vitamin E! It is an Oil Free Formulation which is perfect because I know myself in particularly I hate it when a moisturiser I’m using leaves my skin looking shiny & highly oily looking! The Moisturiser works to help even out the surface of your skin, leaving it feeling & looking healthy & more glowing ( non oily glowing ) 🙂 !!!

Using the Moisturiser as a primer:

What is great about the Moisturiser is that is multi functional to be used with a Facial Serum to help you create a formula to work as a primer you can use under your makeup! I’ve used the Moisturiser with my Chamomile & Seabuckthorn Calming & Soothing Facial Serum. What is great about the Serum is that it is Water Based, and the scent of Chamomile is soothing < & won’t irritate your skin!

Chamomile is a great soothing and protecting ingredient, the combination of Water, Seabuckthorn & Chamomile work together to help create a smooth base for makeup to be applied over! & what is great about the Facial Serum / Mixed with the Moisturiser is that any areas of Redness is reduced, which enables a smoother and cleaner base for your foundation / makeup preparations!

& Finally the Collagen Moisturising Gel

Gels are always a great experience of mine to try out, and the Love your Skin Collagen Moisturising Gel has definitely lived up to my expectations!

The Notes of Aloe Vera, & Primrose within the Gel definitely make you want to apply the gel on a regular basis, instantly after application I am left feeling fresher & more cooler! This mixed with collagen leaves the skin feeling more hydrated and cleansed in the process! I am in love with this product, as it fits the criteria for everything that I look for in a multi-functional (all in one) product I can carry with me on the go!!! I’ve used this product on my face & body, and it caused no irritation! Something I am usually weary about when a product is aimed at ‘all skin types’

*** I think this product is great to use as a secondary type of moisturiser when you are looking for a refreshing/ Cooling based moisturiser on days you want hydration and protection without the use of a cream!

Oh wow! I am in love with this brand, thank you for a thorough review I will have to try the moisturiser & Face Serum for myself! I suffer from Sensitive & Oily skin which one would you Recommend I use?

    • You can use the the Moisturiser as a base & buy both the Facial serum for Oily Skin & the one for sensitive skin & mix them all together to create a personalised formula specific to your skincare needs!! < I really hope that helps :-p Thank you for the kind words 🙂 xox

  3. Oooh, they sound so nice. I’ve been on such a serum kick lately.

Seriously they look Lush! & a bargain too for what I normally spend on Skincare moisturisers! xx

  5. I wonder how their products work on oily combo skin! Great post gorgeous! 🙂

    • ☺️ thank you Honey, Honestly I get a little oil on my nose, the sensitive one clears it up a bit & reduces shine < & thats the one aimed at sensitive skin :-p I think playing around with the different serums and making a personal skincare cream would definitely work for your skin 🙂 xox

  6. Ooh these looks so great, I get oily skin too so its good that it reduces shine. Plus, I adore aloe vera!
